Hi,

My 9mth old iMac G5 PPC went to bed last night and entered a comatose state.

I tried the following revival methods:

Tapped the power button.
Forced Shutdown.
Held the Apple and S keys while moving the mouse around.
Pulled all cables out and tried again.
Removed unnecessary periphs.
Relocated iMac to another room.

Already had new LogicBoard and Screen under warranty.

Is this another trip to the Apple Store???

Unplug it and press the power button for 5 seconds, I think thats how you reset the PMU. Try also leaving it unplugged for a while. If it still doesn't work, a trip to the Apple store it is.

Just returned form the Apple Store, thankfully it's not a long drive but they are short staffed and have 20 jobs before mine...

Hope it's all fixed soon.

BTW, your sig. is too big. It needs to be four lines of text.
