But i'm wondering if it will be sufficient enough for my needs.

Currently i'm using my PowerBook G4 as my main computer, I download music, do homework (running Office), surf the web, check out movie trailers, upload pictures, download pictures and i'm doing some amatuer video editing, like short films and video clips (for Holiday get togethers, etc.) so i'm uploading video as well - there are some slow downs, like Safari does sometimes quit, example: during my myspace surfing, or iMovie will quit, or take a while to complete a certain task... but i'm not here to whine, as I love my PowerBook. Note: I haven't added any ram to my PB either - it's a 1Ghz with 256 MB Built-In memory.

So with that said, will a Mac Mini actually be better than my PowerBook G4, what with it being newer technology and a newer OS... I don't have Tiger yet on my PB. I'm just saying, with what i'm doing on my PB now, it'll most likely be better on a newer machine, such as the Mac Mini, right?

I guess the only thing i'll do differently if I get a Mac Mini is install Photoshop (or Elements) and use that on the Mini... i'm not a gamer, but there could be a possibility I could game if the right game comes around... also, i'll most likely hook this up to my LCD television, so I could use this as a media center as well, watching DVD movies, etc.

Any comments or suggestions?

Suggestion: spend the extra money and go for a Core Duo Mini with 1GB RAM.
iMac Core Duo 1.83 Ghz | 1.25GB RAM | 160HD, MacBook Core Duo 1.83 Ghz | 13.3" | 60HD | 1.0GB RAM

Also, if you are keeping your PowerBook, definitely get more RAM. A 512MB stick is pretty cheap and will make a world of difference for iMovie especially.
