New to me...my G4 Sawtooth ( stock 450mhz running OS 10.4.6 with 1 Gb ram ) has a newly installed Radeon 9200 ( or 9250?) Mac Edition AGP graphics card. The ATI Displays software and card's ROM firmware are current. When the computer awakens from deep sleep , the screen starts to "bleed" bright green and some magenta video artifacts on the single attached VGA monitor ( CRT generic). The artifacts clear up after restarting.

At first I thought it the Radeon card was just overheating, but since the problem goes away on a hot restart , I now suspect it's something to do with the ATI video driver not playing well with Sleep mode. Again , I do believe I have the latest driver and firmware installed... any suggestions ? ATI tech support is lamentable.

Happens to me sometimes. Quicksilver with 9800 pro. Sometimes if you can still use your os with all the artifacts, just put it to sleep again, and wake it up again. Most of the time it's gone.

I have a Samsung CRT that displays red line artifacts when it wakes. In my case I have verified that it is the CRT and not my graphics card at fault. DewD, you specify you have a generic CRT, but it could have a similar issue.
