My Mac Pro and my HP LCD (HP 2335) don't seem to get along too well when sleeping.
When the display sleeps (as opposed to the entire computer sleeping), it doesn't really go off. The screen goes dark, and the on-screen display says "Display going to sleep", then the power LED goes from green to orange, indicating that it's off. A couple of seconds later, it goes back to green and the backlight comes back on. Then the whole cycle repeats, again and again and again.
I'm at a loss for how to troubleshoot it. I tried switching to the other DVI output on the graphics card but it made no difference. Besides that, I really don't know what to try. Any advice?
This is a stock Mac Pro with Bluetooth added, so it's the standard low-end nVidia graphics card. I'm running 10.4.7 with all the updates applied.
