Well, when my new iMac Core Duo 20" arrives next week and I stick my two Mushkin 1GB SO-DIMMs in it, what the heck do I do with the 512MB SO-DIMM it came with? Aside from using it as a bookmark, that is.
Anybody need one of these things? Goin' cheap!

There is a marketplace section on this website. You can sell it there. Besides that, I would be perfectly willing to buy it for a dollar.

Your generosity overwhelms me.
At least you didn't tell me to just cram it up my nethers. For that I thank you.

After trying to sell my OEM 512MB stick from my 20" Intel iMac and failing miserably, I made a keyfob out of it. Drill + bit + memory = nerd.

I put mine on eBay recently and we'll see if it sells. If not, I'll keep it just in case some sort of weird voodoo happens and both my 1GB modules in my iMac go bad simultaneously.

Oooo. Memory Jewelry. So cool. I'll bet you could convince somebody to stick it in their Dell or something, if it's compatible.

I've kept the 2 x 256 sticks that came in my MacBook after upgrading to 2 x 512s, and I am glad I did. So far I have had 3 MacBooks, and each time i've sent it back, I have obviously had to put the original RAM back in.
I suggest you keep it in a safe place incase you ever send it in, for repair or replacement. Even if it just goes in for repair i'd take your RAM out and put the original in, because 1) they can't lose your RAM, and 2) they can't blame any problems on you putting new RAM in there

You should be able to sell the RAM on eBay for something. I have two unmatched PC3200 modules I need to list.

I'm going to take this approach. Thanks.

Seconded. AppleCare is very picky about having the original RAM in the machine if there is any inkling of a problem that might be caused by faulty RAM.
