The last 3 morning when I have turned on my monitor then woken my MDD DP 1.25GHZ from sleep when I get up, nothing would respond then this morning I had turned on my monitor (without it being asleep since I normally turn on my monitor and go have a shower) and noticed a kernal panic. This would explain the no response (and no lights on my USB mouse). Saturday afternoon, I did a format/install since I had been planning on it for awhile and had nothing to do with the kernal panic from sleep (since I didn't know about it then).

I installed Jaguar on my 80GB (7.5GB/65GB) a few days ago and had to pull my USB2 PCI+R9800 to get it to install (and won't boot to Jaguar now after all updates). The drive is for my Beige G3. I am running 10.4.7 with all updates on my MDD drive not Jaguar. I used the same home folder (since it's on a separate drive) so the same library folder. It boots up just fine and last night I slept i before I went to bed waited 20 seconds and it came back up fine. I also did a reset-nvram from Open Firmware as a friend suggested yesterday (along with zapping the PRAM).

I know this USB2 PCI card if I have stuff plugged in it won't sleep properly but nothing has changed on the USB card for plugged in stuff since I pulled everything, well maybe I changed the ports stuff was plugged into. I have a Plantronics DSP-500+Kingtien USB2 BLuetooth+USB cable+iPod cable plugged in.

There is one more piece of info but I have forgotten it that might be useful for helping me.

Thanks for the help.

Get memtest (Memtest OS X - Home) and run it from single user mode. At least that will verify that the RAM is not causing the issue. If that's not it then remove all PCI cards and see if that fixes the issue.
