I've decided to sell my trusty iMac because I've come to realize that I desperately need the portability of a laptop once again, and I can't justify keeping two computers right now.
The iMac? It's the Rev. B model released in June 2005. I purchased it a mere couple of days after it was introduced, and beefed it up quite a bit.
Specs:
- 20" screen
- 2GHz G5 processor
- 2GB of RAM (upgraded with crucial RAM in October '05)
- 400GB hard-drive (yeah, it's pretty big)
That's pretty much the essentials. Everything else is in it (Bluetooth, Airport, Tiger OSX 10.4.7, ATI Radeon 9600 w/ 128MB VRAM, yadayada...) and I'm also including all the original manuals, installation DVDs, original box... even the original twisty ties if he/she wants them. I'm also including the pro wireless keyboard and mouse.
My question is: am I asking too little? I posted an ad on my local Craigslist last night asking $1000 for the whole kit 'n kaboodle, and since then I've received 13 responses. Honestly, I wasn't expecting that many and I thought most would be "I'll give you [insert ridiculously lower price here] for it, and not penny more."
.... thoughts?
