When I tried to add two additional SATA drives to my MP, it does not recognize that they are there. The one drive I have had out for about 6 months....but was working. The other drive was a 300 GB Seagate I pulled directly out of the second bay of my G5. I put them on the sleds, slid them in until flush with #1, but no joy....

Have you tried the other bays of your Mac Pro?
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.

No ...I will try that is a couple of combination...I guess I figured 2 out of 3 empty didn't work...I must not be doing something right....I will try the 300 GB in all three slots...thanks for the suggestion.
