Hi,
We’ve got three computers here at home:
• A windows Pentium4 with 512MB RAM and a 17”LCD (Technische Informatie - IMEDIA 5042 - 102992240003 - iMedia - platform_veloce_imedia - Desktop)
• And a windows laptop (HP ze2070, Pentium M 735 1.7GHz and 512MB RAM)
I’ll replace one of them with a Mac and I only need a laptop occasionally for viewing documents and e-mailing. So I was wondering whether I should buy
* a MB 2.0GHz with 2GB RAM and attach my 17”LCD and a keyboard+mouse to it and use it mainly as a desktop (the old PC-laptop moves to my parents)
*or a new20" iMac with 2GB RAM (and my old P4 moves to my parents)
After the latest updates from the iMac, the iMac looks “more for less money” to me
I use my computer mainly for entertainment, writing papers and some small web design.
I’m still a student (first year university) from Belgium but I’ll won’t need a laptop very much for school
