Call me crazy, but did the upgrade price from the 7300 to the x1900 just fall from $350 to $250 on Apple's BTO website?

sorry. So I ordered the computer in mid-August, they gave me a quote, which I paid when I picked the computer up from the store in September. I don't think they passed on this $100 savings to me. Er, what should I do?

Call Apple and see what they'll do for you.

Generally they're quite responsive to things such as this.

I take it he didn't buy from Apple, because as far as I've heard, Apple automatically adjusted the price of everyone who bought from Apple. Talk to the retailer you bought from.

they're not obligated to lower the price, though, are they -- not very encouraging
