I am having trouble getting my imac 233 v.b online. I have high speed through comcast and I would like to get online. The imac is "stock", no upgrades, os 8.5. What I would like is a step by step if possible. I have tried and tried, but I must be missing something. Any help would be great!

This isn't really an iMac question, but here goes.

How is your current set-up hooked up? Do you have other computers hooked up on the internet? Do you have a router/switch?
