I benched mine with Geekbench and got scores about 378-382 with 6GB RAM.. try Geekbench and see what you get. With 2GB and a 2.66, I've seen scores in the low to mid 300's..

Here are some results on a system like yours: Geekbench Result Browser
Mac Pro 3.0, ATI 5770 1GB VRAM, 10GB, 2xVelociraptor boot RAID, 4.5TB RAID0 storage, 30" & 20" Apple displays.
2 x Macbook Pro's 17" 3.06 4 GB RAM, 256GB Solid State drives
iMac 17" Core Duo 1GB RAM, & 2 iPhones 8GB, and a Nano in a pear tree!

also what are usual things that slow down your comp, and how do you fix them?

because at times it fast and at times it slow ......

i accidently ran the enabler for front row and says this

which says
"Do not use Enabler with Intel based Macs, such as the MacBook or Mac Pro. Using Enabler with with an Intel Mac will damage your Mac OS X system files."

hope my Mac Pro isnt damaged
if all fails do i just get the scrubber?

Please don't triple post.

The 224.5 is the rosseta score. That's how fast the PPC emulator runs. 338 is the score of your computers speed.

Being slow on the internet is a function of you internet connection, not your Mac.

Bit more info would help, by slow what do you mean? The dock bounces aren't the most accurate reflection of performance, but we can use that for a base for now. On my MacPro (2.66Ghz, 2GB of RAM too) Safari takes about one dock bounce and a half to launch. Is it the application launch times that are slow? Or just general program performance (menus, scrolling, window resizing etc)?

Your machine is running exactly as fast as it should.

It's your internet that's slow.. call your ISP..
