hello there,
I was just wondering, in 2007 whenever it is released i plan to buy leopard to install on my 2 macs (imac g5, 1.6 ghz, 2gb ram / intel macbook 2.0, 512 mb ram) and wondered will this operating system run faster than tiger is running now (v quick on both systems ) or could it be slower (ie taking more power) not really sure how os work so go easy
thanks

Judging by the history of the Mac OS, it will probably be marginally faster. Each release has been faster than the last so far.

That said, nobody's tried out a functional copy of Leopard, so nobody can say for sure what kind of difference it will make.

Dunno if it will be faster or slower, but the important thing is that Leopard's Core Animation (which has the same requirements as Core Image) will support both your iMac G5 and your MacBook, with all the eye candy.
