i have duel 1.8 G5. I am trying to start up, but not working. 3 green lights are blinking on the tower and 3 also on the monitor at the same time. there is no sound indicating that it wants to start. what is wrong? is there a quick fix?

If that doesn't work, as it didn't work for me, you probably have the same problem I had. Apple fixed it by replacing my Logic Board (twice!), Power Supply, and graphics card. Over $3000 in replacements and labor for $249.00 that I paid 2 years ago.

If the power light on the front is blinking, you can decode them with this key:

About the Power Mac G5 (Late 2005) diagnostic LEDs

Go to the bottom of the page, for the Front Panel LED key.

Actually, thank topher. I was pointing out a worst case scenario if resetting the PMU didn't work.
