Hey...I understand that the mac pro can have upto 4 hard drives installed and all the hard drives run at 7200rpm. While doing video editing, at most i'll be using 2 hard drives simultaneously.....maybe 3 if I configure one in a RAID 0 configuration....its likely that these hard drives will get extremely hot...question is DOES THE MAC PRO COME WITH ENOUGH VENTILATION FOR COOLING THE HARD DRIVES...ARE THERE ANY OTHER AVAILABLE OPTIONS FOR COOLING YOUR HARD DRIVES. ..thanks

I imagine there is plenty of cooling for the HDs, and I do not know of any cooling solutions for the Mac Pro at this time.

That being said, I've never had any HD I've owned get so hot it couldn't be touched. At the most, they got very warm. I don't imagine they'll be much problem with the ones in the Mac Pro.

YOUR CAPSLOCK KEY GOT STUCK. No reason to shout here.
Mac Pros -- like any workstation on the market -- have plenty of cooling for all harddrives.

Generally drive cooling only becomes a significant concern when you've got drives stacked on top of one another. With the horizontal placement of the four drives in the Mac Pro I'd be really surprised if drive cooling was anything you'll ever have to worry about. All four drive bays have quite adequate airflow and exposed surface to shed the heat they generate.

Calm down, Baburao. He was just making light fun. And besides, he's right. For alot of boards, people take that as shouting. It's not something he decided to come up with. Take it easy.

It's just bad netiquette. There is no need to make your post barely readable … and then being snotty about it when I just give you a nice pointer and answer your initial question as well. So settle down, please.
