iMac 24" restart from sleep prob

My iMac 24" is fabulous in every way, except that sometimes when I press a button on the keyboard or mouse to wake it from sleep, it acts as if it had been off (even though the sleep light was going) and starts up. Any ideas?

Never heard of this problem. I'd call Apple about it. Definitely should get it fixed or replaced.
