Hello everyone! I had to register, since MacNN seems to be my one of my last chances to solve this weird problem my iMac (20" Core Duo 2Gb memory with Tiger 10.4.7, Boot Camp installed) is having.

So the problem in short is audio lagging. It is not a problem only in FCP 5.1.1 (Final Cut Pro), but in the whole OS. If I start a Quicktime-video the sound starts to come few seconds after the picture. The same with Quicktime in Windows is in perfect sync starting audio and picture at the same time.

If I put a only a 48 khz audio track in the FCP timeline, created with Soundtrack Pro, it does not start when play line hits the visual marking of the audio file, but few secs later. And there is no silence in the beginning of the audio file. This is driving me mad, since I cannot even edit anymore properly. If you have ANY clue about why this could be happening, I'd really appreciate it.
