I am going to buy a new mac, i am just not sure what i should do. I own an HDR-HC3 sony camcorder and will be mainly using it for video editing and searching the internet. I will probably be using final cut studio or express. Being in college i cant really afford a power mac and have decided to buy a refurbished 17 inch from apple. If i do this i figure i will have enoguh money to upgrade the ram to 2 gig and still not spend as much as i would have buying a brand new one. My question is if i should wait for the new core 2 duo to pop on the refurbished market or go ahead and buy the intel core duo.
