If I want to use the iMac as a monitor also, like having two computers running and sharing just one monitor (the imac one) is that possible?

In hardware? No.
In software? You can do it with VNC, but the lag may be bothersome. Games won't work.

Yes. As long as it's not games or other overly screen intensive tasks. In fact, the computer doesn't even need to be next to the system. It's all done over the network... which is nice if you don't want a junky desk.

Damn! that VNC is a good app! but guess what? between OS X Machines works great! but if one of them is OS 9.... that one is SLOOOOOW! It crash a lot and I can't use it well...
