I've used some PPC programs under rosetta and they were pretty damn slow. But never my CS apps, and never on a quad mac. What is the speed like? I'd figure that some things, like some CPU intensive filters, would be faster on the intel, even through emulation, with so many CPUs. My biggest fear is that the GUI is going to be painfully slow. Like clicking on a window involving waiting for the window to come to the front. Or clicking on a new tool and waiting for that tool to be selected. I have a very nice prime window to upgrade, and I do TONS of encoding of video and audio, all with apps that are universal already. But I also do lots of Adobe work :-/
