I just got this enclosure to work with my new 24" iMac and so far it doesn't want to work right. I have two 500GB Hitachi 7200RPM drives in it running in RAID 0 w/ no settings changes to the enclosure. I am using FW800 to connect the enclosure to my iMac. At first it was working really well, extremely fast file transfer, but lately it seems to constantly eject itself. I get the "Device Removal" warning all the time, then it will try and mount itself again, only to eject again a few seconds later. There doesn't appear to be a pattern to it and it happens over FW400 as well. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can stop this from happening? I have e-mailed OWC and hopefully will hear something soon, but I rely on this drive as a media storage center and it is also where all of my torrents are saved.
