Is there anyone using FB-DIMM from Micron (not Crucial).
A local supplier offered me the following model:
Micron
MT9HTF6472FY-667B4E3 (Intel AMB C0)
512MB

I need to get the heatsink kit later myself if i were to use it on my macpro. but the problem is, will it work?

thanks in advance!

I hate to tell you this, but Micron owns Crucial (their retail arm).

With the proper heatsink, I don't see a reason why it wouldn't work.

Most likely void your warranty though.
