Hey, I see in the gallery that somebody has their 24"iMac "in the air." This is something I'd really like to do. I need to be able to ritate my mac 360 degrees so I can spin it round from my desk and watch movies/tv on my sofa.
Any ideas for a good vesa mount?

ideally white or silver. But arms that will support the weight of the 24" iMac seem hard to come accross in the uk

you get them for about 19 USD (1 pivot long arm with clamp for desk) from the markets in Hong Kong, so expect to pay this much if you get cheap one on eBay.

all electronics stores are selling these arms to mount LCD TVs nowadays... it'll work with the imac too.... you just need to purchase the vesa mount adapter kit for the imac.

Make sure your desk is rock solid, the slightest disturbance to the desk is transferred and mulitiplied through the arm mount, and your display begins to shake. Very annoying.
I love my VESA arms, and I'm considering getting a new desk rather than scrapping the arms though. It creates so much more usable space underneath the monitors.
I have VESA arms from Ergotron, very high quality.

Mount the arms to the wall? It shouldn't be moving.
