Could you be a bit more specific? Do you mean the new 'HD' (as opposed to blu-ray) movies? In that case, you need a separate HD-DVD drive.

They do not support HD-DVDs (common), but they would support high definition content (like H.264 Quicktime files) that happened to be stored on a (burned) DVD (very uncommon).

If and when an external Blue-Ray-ROM or HD-DVD-ROM drive is available, or even an internal one, you have the drive support you need.
