Nice set-up. If you plan to use RAM gobbling apps you should upgrade the RAM. If you want to hook up a PS3 you will need the eyeTV Hybrid.

Like CATS said, you'll need an additional adaptor. The iMac doesn't have any video in ports, but your eyeTV will. The DTT could have component inputs, and those should work with the ps3 (I'm completely guessing though), but you'll want to make sure that it has zero latency, otherwise there's a slight lag between the console sending info and the computer displaying it.

Okay, I realize that you're 16 and excited and all, but please try and show a little restraint in your posts. Act like an adult, and we'll treat you like one.

And should have stayed banned.

Also he didn't tell you what to do, he told you how to act maturely on a message board without looking like an idiot as you did in your other posts.

Geez guys, stop being such bummers. The kid is excited for his new Mac. What's wrong with that? Don't like his grammar? Deal with it. This is the Internet. Grammar does not exist here.

Get over yourselves.

Have fun Grant.

I can understand being excited 'n all, but one thing that bugs the hell outta me is when people use "lol" as a punctuation mark. Sorry, but no one 'laughs out loud' that much. And if they do, they should probably be institutionalized, because there's clearly something wrong with them.

Awww, did it hurt your eyes or something? Did the words on the screen jump out and stab you in the face?

Seriously, why people get all worked up over this sort of stuff is beyond me. Find something else to bitch about. You know, like something actually worth bitching about.

No, it bugs me because it makes the writer look stupid, and it really bothers me when people either don't have enough self-respect or are simply too lazy to portray themselves in a positive way through their writing. I mean, if you actually read the sentences in your mind and interpret them literally (substituting laughing sounds for all the instances of "lol"), doesn't the writer sound a bit...off?

And I know the OP isn't an idiot or anything, and it's not like it's the end of my world. It's just a pet peeve. Go on about your lives now.

Grant 1608 I'm am soooooo exciteddddd 4 U! I'm 40 yrs old and there's nothing like having a brand new toy especially a new Mac like the one you got. BTW, I bought 2 EyeTV Hybrids at Macworld last week for $99.00 U.S. and it's the best thing I have bought in years next to my Mac. You won't be disappointed. Don't let any idiots on this forum tell you how to behave. The only guidelines on this forum are in terms of posting pics, and it's best not to use profanity if you can help it but there are no age guidelines here and rather you act like a teenager or a old man is your business.
I can't believe this forum would be so rude as to try and diminish someone's excitement especially when this forum is pro Macintosh. This forum loves to grab as many Windows users as possible and switch them over to the Mac and to treat someone with a new Mac the way he was treated is just outrageous and sounds like jealousy!
