Has anyone seen some benchmarks on the video card options available for the Mac Pro?
I just saw a British Magazine that compared the stock GeForce 7300 GT and the Quadro FX 4500. What I'd like to see, however, is some specs on the GeForce 7300 versus dual 7300's versus the Radeon x1900 XT, etc.
Anyone know where I can find them?

No specs (that I've found) for dual cards, but there are tests for the two main stock cards.

Dual 7300s is going to be the same as a single 7300; neither the Mac Pro nor OSX support SLI. The X1900 is goong to be about the same as the Quadro; the Quadro advantage is in features, not performance.

I just learned that today, actually -- thanks.
Sounds like the X1900 is the best bet for optimal performance and price.

Question about the dual cards: Does having two of them increase the amount of VRAM available if you have dual monitors? I remember reading a while ago about the VRAM getting split between the two, but I'm not so sure that's correct. Would having two increase the VRAM available to each display or does the OS dynamically allocate it?
Either way, I'm going to drop in a second 7300 as I got it free.

If you have one display connected to a card, it gets the cards whole VRAM. If you have two displays connected to a card, each gets half the cards VRAM.
This is true if you have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8 displays connected to 1, 2, 3, or 4 cards.
