mac mini causing screen blinks

	I run a g4 mini 1.5GHz with a formac 20" LCD. When I turn the screen off and come back to it and turn it back on the screen sort of blinks. i.e. the screen turns off & back on 4 or 5 times in succession. Each blink lasts about 2 seconds. I believe it's something to do with the graphics card in the mini. Is this true and is there a solution? Tis a strange one. Thanks in advance for any advice. PS. I run @ 1600x1200 and have 1GB system RAM. Graphics has 64MB.
