I'm experiencing choppy video when watching HD movie trailers from the QuickTime site. No problems with the 480p however. I didn't think this would be an issue with my current hardware. Anyone have this issue or know how to fix it? Listed below are my specs...

20" iMac
2 Ghz Intel Core Duo
1.5 GB RAM
128MB ATI Radeon X1600

Thanks in advance.....

Just an FYI for anyone else who might come across the same issue....the problem was QuickTime was running using Rosetta.

Did you use Migration Assistant to copy your data from another Mac to your Intel iMac?

No. I left it checked by mistake when I was attempting to make WMV files work within QuickTime.

I left the Rosetta checkbox checked. This was back before the universal binary was released for Flip4mac and I was trying some work arounds.

Ah, the "Open in Rosetta" box in Get Info for QuickTime... Makes sense now, thanks.

If you want to watch WMV on your iNtel iMac use Flip4Mac or VLC.
