After replacing the logic board twice and the hard drive once Apple Australia seems to think it's acceptable to replace the logic board again rather than replacing the machine.

This machine has been in the shop for over a month for repair as each time I take it in there's a 4 to 5 day turn around.

I've had Apple's since an Apple IIe and never had a problem but this machine is a LEMON & Apple keeps on trying to avoid the issue.

As Apple doesn't have a public face in Australia they hide behind the reseller network. When I questioned the 3rd new logic board (4th in the machine) I was told I couldn't even speak to a manger and if I wanted to complain I had to write (snail mail) to a PO Box as they won't accept email responses.

Anyone have a similar issue with Apple Australia? I hear in the US and other countries this sort of thing is very rare.

What can I do to get the kind of Mac I've come to know and love? One that works all the time and never has an issue.

I had a PowerBook with a similar track record. The Apple Store in Hingham, Massachusetts replaced it without protest.
