Just bought an I Mac G4 Sunflower from my university, but I don't know where to begin. I tried to find a manual book online but could not. What/Where is the best place to start to learn how to use my I Mac G4? I could use all advise. Thanks!

1. individual settings are set in system preferences.
2. resize windows by dragging around the little box in the lower right hand corner.
3. to close an application hit command (apple) plus q.
4. forget cutting, copying and pasting. things here are moved around by dragging and dropping.
5. the help menu's are actually helpful.
6. follow cakey's advice. this ought to get you started. don't be afraid to explore your machine. good luck.

Everything in your Mac is stored in the "Macintosh HD" icon up there at the top right portion of your screen. It is setup to make life easy for you by having yoour favorite places on the left. All your Applications are right there in Applications! You will get the hang of it, just use the thing!

Drag your favorite Apps to the dock below for easy launching in the future.

Enjoy your mac!

Everyone's advise was great. Thank you so much! As for the turning it on advise , I did do that and played around a bit. I thought maybe there was more to getting some of the applications to work because I tried to get on the web but I could not.

Anyway thanks most for leading me to MAC 101, this looks as though it will help me a lot. I'm excited to be joining the Mac world!
