Hello All,
Although I think I know which way I'm gonna go, I would like any opinions you guys have that could possibly help me (hopefully some I have not thought of yet). This will be my first Mac purchase!
I have a friend who has a 20" core duo (1gb, 250 HD) that he recieved as a birthday gift a couple of months ago. He does not want it and the box has never been opened (don't ask why, long story
). He will sell it to me for $1100. My main question is since I will only really be doing things like iTunes, internet, some light home movie editing, etc. is there any good reason I should spend the extra $$ for a core 2 duo with everything pretty much the same? Thanks!
Also, can I still purchase the Applecare warranty if I buy from my friend? Thanks again!!
