Both of these items are for sale for $275. I've seen them both in person and they work well. I need some help trying to figure out which one is a better deal. First up is the Gigabit Ethernet 450MHz with 640Mb of RAM, a 20 and 250Gb HD, and an ATi Radeon 8500 GPU. It's in perfect condition. The Quicksilver is a 733MHz with 896Mb of RAM, a 40GB HD, standard GPU and an Airport card. The Airport card isn't a big bonus for me. I love the look of the QS, which also has the original box, install disks, and documentation which the GE lacks. But it seems to me that maybe the GE would be a bit better value due to the upgrades. Thanks for helping me out!

depending on which upgrades you are looking to do is a big factor.
Personally i would edge towards the QS, though 733MHz is not a favourite of mine, i've seen more of these have random issues than the later QS's
even if the airport card isn't much use to you, it does have a good resale value so you could put that towards the upgrades.

The only upgrades that I would do is maybe another internal HD and RAM I think to the Quicksilver. Personally I too am leaning towards the Quicksilver.

Yep, I'd go for the QS too
Having recently bought one, I can tell you they are sweet machines. They are 2 generations newer than the GE model, and it has more ram, the original discs, has 4x AGP vs. the 2x of the GE (which gives you more upgrade options), plus the Airport card too.
Like Nivag said, you could sell the Airport card for ~$50-75, as well as the original discs for ~$20 (if you already have another OS set), and put that money towards maxing the ram and a bigger HDD too........
