Quicktime does not display images

I am new to apple and I am having trouble veiwing certain websites. There are no pictures displayed, instead there is the quicktime logo with a question mark next to it. My quicktime is all up-to-date, does anybody have any advice?

Try making a new user account and see what happenes, if that works migrate your data to the new account
