I press the power button on my G4 867MHz, the fans begin to spin and then POOF. nothing shuts off. ideas?

i have done the pullpower cord, battery, but unless i did it wrong i didnt get the RAM beeps that meens the logic is busted?

im a little confused.

So the fans keep spinning and lights running? Is there anything on the screen and if so what did it show when it stops trying to boot?

Reset the logic board. There should be a button on it somewhere. Only push it once.
