I want to use my MAC MINI (Dual Core - 1.83Ghz with 1G of ram) with my 22" monitor.

The screen looks less then stellar - esp compared to my MacBook Pro using the same monitor.

I am told the Mini uses system ram for the display. Would increasing the ram to 2G help the display?

Thank you very much and more so - thanks for your help in 2006!

No, adding more RAM won't help.

What is actually wrong with the display when connected to the Mini?

Well, that's just monitor adjustments in the software. Go through the Colorsync calibration to improve things. That has nothing to do with which computer is attached to it.

Oh - thank you very much. For me the "system ram" usage was a red herring.

Appreciatate your help and lack of derision.
