Hi there

i just noticed that when ever i need to restart my comp or start it up this allways pops up and takes a while to start

YouSendIt: The Leader in File Delivery.

could someone tell me what it is and how do i make my Mac Pro skip this step to make it start up quicker?

Thanks

You didn't upload the file correctly (it shows up as zero bytes).

Perhaps you could just describe what you see?

That indicates that no startup disk is selected in System Preferences. You may have started from a disc by selecting it in System Preferences, and then you forgot to selecct your hard drive. The world icon you see is NetBoot.

It's normal as long as it goes away when you select a startup disk.

it doesnt matter if you pressed ALT or not, somehow, the computer has set itself up to try and find a place to start off on a network. it cant find it, so it keeps on looking. then it gives up, and starts off the hard drive.

to fix this, go into system preferences. (Apple menu -> System Preferences) and go into startup disk. then, select your hard drive (normaly called Macintosh HD), and click the "restart" button.

and you should be done.
