My buddy says he can not select an area of text to print from when using his new Mini (1 month old). Is that right? I was thinking of buying a new Mini this weekend (trashed my old PC last summer an use a Palm E2) and that's an issue. Anyone? I'm guessing he's printing from App'works.

What does "select an area of text to print from" mean? There is copy and paste and you can do screen grabs. Can you clarify? And is this really such a huge issue that it might prevent you from buying?

yeah, i can't do that either. If i select a text in safari or any other app i don't have an option to print just the selected source...

If by "can not select an area of text to print" you mean you can't print ONLY the highlighted text, then yes it is normal. I didn't even know that you could do that in win...

Yes, in MS Word you can highlight an area of text, then select Print, then select Print Selected and it just prints that. It's quite handy. No, this would not prevent me from buying, but I'd like to find out what some of the other issues may be. If there were sufficient issues, then I would plan to purchase Office 2008 which comes out this summer, so I'd have this and other features there. Thanks folks.
