G4 iMac Screen issue

	A couple of days ago a thin line appeared running from top to bottom of the screen. It shows up clearly on startup and shutdown when the desktop is grey or blue and can be seen when plain colours are on screen. The line is very thin, like wire. I've run pixel checkers but the line does not show up. What might be the problem be please? Thanks.
