does any monitor work for a mac?
I am thinking to get a mac pro with Belinea 2225S1W 22" Widescreen LCD Monitor
would that work?

Yes, any monitor should work - with the reservation that the port must fit, same as any computer. You don't mention what machine you have, but check out the specs if you have a VGA port, a DVI port or a min-version of either of those. If you have a miniport, you need an adapter from Apple. If you have one of the others, pick a monitor that has the same type of port in.
