ok, so i ordered a apple imac g3. its my first mac and i kno its not that great.
so i also ordered 2 512mb ram memory stcks, 100gig apple hard drive and an internal dvd drive, and lastly mac os panther. im good with putting comps. together and all, but i was just woundering how my comp will run with, videos, games, and internet. any help would be nice, thanks

1gb memory in a g3 imac is just fine. i have 384mb in mine, and it runs great. what is the processor speed?

The video card in all of the G3's isn't the best, you'll experience some lag during playback. As far as internet goes, it should be fine as long as there isn't heavy Java-based sites and all that jazz. G3's are great machines and they'll keep going and going and going as long as they are well taken care of.

Also, this machine would be great to run iTunes and older iLife '05 applications.

it is a 400mhz
im really excited to get it in hand. im just afraid it will be too slow. even with the 1gig. ram.

o ya, i read that u cant change the video cards in the g3s.
is there any type of mod that would actually let u?
