Can a mac pro have any graphics card? can i buy any PCI Express graphics card and put it in my mac pro or does it have to be made for the mac

No, you still have to buy a proprietary Apple-blessed card. And you get to pay a price well above the "street price" for the equivalent PC video card.
7300GT for Mac Pro: $150
7300GT for PCs: $70
X1900 XT for Mac Pro: $400
X1900 XT for PCs: $220

Is it possible to get a pc graphics card not for the mac but to run windows vista on the mac pro. would it work? if i get a 8800 GTX and run windows vista ultimate for games
