i am thinking about doing the following and wanted to know if it was possible.
i wanted to get a 24 iMac and hang it on the wall in my bedroom and use it as a game machine and media server.
i wanted either a large network drive or internal drive and rip dvds to it with handbrake so they were always on tap and use either front row or media central.
does this seem possible or is there a cheaper way of doing this?
how much space would you reccomend for a setup like this?

also do you think that it is possible to watch the movies if they were backed up over a network drive i.e. airport extreme - wd hard drive?
