Alright, ive had it with my imac intel core due superdrive (Matshita UJ-846) drive. DVD layer was accidentally launched with a region coded DVD movie in the drive, and it automatically set the region of the drive without asking.

Ive scoured th web for an rpc1 update to the drive's firmware,to no avail.

So this is my last resort, is there anyway i can flash the drive's firmware to factory setting, thus taking off the region it is currently set to ?

Cheers
