Hey guys!

I have a Mac Pro in my bedroom and am wanting to connect the second DVI output to my 34" 1080i TV via a DVI-HDMI cable. I'm using a 23" Cinema Display for a main monitor. Is it possible to have both of these running and at different resolutions? I don't want to use the TV for an extended desktop. I want it to mirror what's on the main display, so I can watch DVD's and video files on it. What's the best way to go about this? Thanks very much!

Why not just go the extended desktop route and put your media player app on the TV display? Plus that way you can still use your monitor for other apps.

Seems easier than some hack to mirror a 1920x1200 display on a 1920x1080 display.

In Sys Pref under displays choose arrange and click mirror. Or you can do what mduell says which personally, makes more sense.
