I just got a new Samsung 19" lcd monitor. I tried hooking it up to my Mini with the DVI connection, figuring it would look best that way. It looks terrible though! Fonts are chunky, images look awful, even though I've set the resolution to the max and all that, it looks very pixelated. Its the same resolution as my last monitor, just larger by 2". But it shouldn't be enough of a difference to make it look so awful. Now, my previous monitor had been hooked up analog, so maybe there is some setting I'm not aware of that needs to be changed over? When I hooked the Samsung up with the adapter and analog connection, it looked much much better. Does anyone know why this might be? It should look better with the digital hookup, no? Any help is appreciated.

It may just be a lousy monitor. What resolution are you using?
