I was setting up the iSight to work in XP under Parallels. I told parallels to capture the iSight's input, XP told me it found new hardware, and continued trying to install the drivers. Then XP locked up and I had to "hard" reset it from the Parallels menu bar. After that I ran all of the new updates from Apple...Java, iTunes, Quicktime, iChat, etc. Now the iSight doesn't show up at all. It doesn't appear in the System Profiler, I can't capture its input in Parallels, Photobooth won't open, iChat AV tells me no video camera is connect, etc. I repaired permissions to no avail. Any other ideas?

It looks like zapping the PRAM fixed it...nothing to see here.

So it happened again. When Skype in XP tries to take a hold of it, Parallels hard crashes...it doesn't show up in Activity Monitor but no amount of Force Quitting makes it go away. I have no choice but to hard restart the computer and zap the PRAM. Weird.
