So I burned a dvd using DVD Studio Pro. It burned the first one fine, but when I tried to re-insert a new disk to burn it held it for a few seconds then spat it back out. Every disk I've tried it's done the same. I restarted and it's still happening. I have to burn two more dvds for a funeral tomorrow afternoon.

I had the same problem, i had to take it to be repaired, doesnt cost anything if its under warranty and it was on the way to work so it didnt bother me. Just find a local apple reseller or repair place on Apples website.
Browsing on a 24" iMac with 3GB of RAM and a super duper fast processor and lots of goodies :)
