Hey all,

Are there any options as far as hooking up a DDS-3 drive to a G5? I'd like to get one connected, but all the DDS-3 drives I can find are 68-pin or 50-pin SCSI, or are in an external case (also with SCSI, but 50-pin Centronics). If that's all my options are, do PCI-X SCSI cards exist that work with the G5 and have a PCI bracket mounted external SCSI connector? I was hoping for something easy like USB or FireWire...

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

There are plenty of such cards. We have a G5 running an external SCSI RAID box from HP. Adaptec are the most common, but check out OWC at macsales.com for a few others.
