Yeap, usually the refurbs are a squeek cheaper than the edu discount, and then nab the edu discount on applecare. Story about my latest apple purchase. I nabbed one of the 2.16 20" refurbs. I bought a 1 gig stick of RAM thinking it will come with 2 512 sticks and I'll have 1.5 gigs for now. It arrives and it's a 2.33 with a single gig stick so it was mega pleased. Another guy I know bought the same thing he got a 2.16 with the 256 Meg video card. It seems like the refurbs are this is the minimum specs you'll get but you might get a lil better machine.
