Hi all.
I am thinking of selling my Quicksilver with dual 1.8ghz, 1.5 gigs, USB 2.0 and two 80 gig drives. It also has quite a few graphic design programs.
Does anyone know much it is worth?
I'm thinking of going smaller and getting a Mac Mini.
Thanks

Most QS's lately have been going for ~$250-550, depending on when & where they are listed, and overall condition. With specs you listed, yours would obviously be on the upper end of that range, IF it has a superdrive and an OS X install disk included.
However, since you mentioned it, be advised that merely having "quite a few graphic design programs" installed on the HD is one thing, including the disks and serial numbers for them is another.....
One is illegal and wont add much to the resale value, the other will preserve the legalities involved and increase the machine's value significantly......
You could make substantially more $$ by parting out the machine......
If you do this I might be interested in the DP 1.8 upgrade

I think I'm going to make a new rule that if you have absolutely zero clue about the value of something, don't respond to appraisal requests for it.
That said, your machine would easily fetch upwards of $700-1,000 on eBay, depending on the graphics card.

Well!
Excuse the hell out of me, for giving my opinion
guess everyone will just have to leave ALL future price quotes to the (self-proclaimed) forum "experts" ONLY !!!!!!!!!!!!
so lets take a looksee:
eBay: Powermac QuickSilver G4 Dual Pro 867MHz/DVD + CDRW/OSX (item 290096659723 end time Mar-23-07 19:34:21 PDT)
eBay: Apple PowerMac G-4 Quicksilver - GRAPHIC DREAM MACHINE (item 190094645267 end time Mar-23-07 14:39:03 PDT)
eBay: Apple PowerMac G-4 Quicksilver 2002 - GRAPHIC DREAM (item 190094647977 end time Mar-20-07 19:50:00 PDT)
And while the machines in those listing are not identical to the OP's, they are still somewhat representative of the low & high ranges that can be found on ebay...........and the OP did not even list the specs of the optical drive, video card, the OS if any, and whether or not a Keyboard/mouse were included...........
And if you will notice, I did say "depending on WHERE & WHEN listed". We ALL know that ebay prices fluctuate considerably. At any given minute, you can find both extremely great deals, as well as outrageous, totally absurd prices that people have paid for any number of items.
And oh yea Mr. moderator, what happened to the rule of locking threads that mention selling machines with installed software but not including the disks........ is that also restricted to "experts-only"

Aside from Lateralus arrogant comments regarding posting here at 'NN, the ebay selling price is all over the place but the median price so far is around 600 dollars. The price will climb a bit higher if you're selling a monitor with it. What type of software will be included etc. Also how you present the G4 makes a huge difference, I've seen similarly configured machines, one going for a lot more because the auction looks a lot more polished. Also I think if you stress that its your machine and you've taken good care of it, you may get a better price/

Calm down young one.
Not a one of those machines you linked to has a processor upgrade. Let alone one worth as much as the OP has.. So if you're going to use those are your reference points, you'd be just as well off looking at the prices of empty QuickSilver cases.
Two of your links were also Buy It Nows and the other was from a seller who had no idea what he was selling. He was selling an MDD and not a QuickSilver. So they're all irrelevant to this thread.
As for the locking rule; There isn't one for appraisal threads.
